SEO Writer

We’re looking for an SEO Writer to join our team. This person will play a key role in improving search visibility for the site and driving new traffic by rewriting and optimizing existing content. In this role, you’ll work closely with the CEO to create compelling content that ranks highly in search engine results.

This is a US based, remote role.

What you’ll do

• Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for optimizing existing content and creating new content that aligns with our SEO strategy.
• Rewrite and optimize existing website content, including blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions, and other digital assets, to improve their visibility in search engine rankings.
• Collaborate with the content team to develop new, SEO-friendly content that attracts and engages our target audience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure our website remains optimized for search engines.
• Perform regular audits of our website content to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance SEO performance.
• Monitor and analyze website traffic, rankings, and other relevant SEO metrics to track the effectiveness of content optimization efforts.
• Work closely with the SEO team to implement on-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, headings, internal linking, and URL structure.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for improving our website's SEO performance.

Who you are:

• Proven experience as an SEO Writer or similar role, preferably in the food industry.
• Proficiency in Wordpress.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and on-page optimization techniques.
• Excellent command of written English, with exceptional attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Ability to conduct in-depth research and synthesize information into engaging and informative content.
• Proficiency in using SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive content optimization decisions.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
