Content Writer

DTN is looking for an energetic and versatile individual to manage and produce written content for top of funnel and thought leadership assets. This full-time, in-house content role is a part of our creative team, producing well-researched content for publication online and in print. An appetite to learn and the creativity to explore and recommend new topics, story angles and formats will help elevate DTN messages in the industries we influence. The content writer role works closely with campaign managers, communications, and our design team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and craft educational and informative articles for multiple industries and solutions.

An understanding of the nuances required to write approachable, yet sometimes technical content is desired, as is an appetite for research, a journalistic curiosity and the courage to test and adjust. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, comfortable with change, eager to raise the bar with informative and educational content for business leaders in multiple industries. A sense of humor, an allegiance to the Oxford comma, and a collaborative approach is key when working within our matrixed, global environment.

Responsibilities:

Create and produce regular cadence of topics and article ideas for brand and product marketing.

Collaborate and develop short- and long-format marketing content including white papers, infographics, web copy, blogs, scripts, brochures, case studies, and e-books.

Research and maintain knowledge of key industries and trends.

Adhere to style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline

At least three years of B2B content writing experience, agency and specifically SaaS experience preferred.

Strong time and project management skills

Proficient in Associated Press writing style.

Exceptional writing, grammar and research skills

Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines.

Proven organizational skills and multitasking ability.
