Copywriter

Compensation Range: $35 - 40 per hour

Our client is looking for a skilled Copywriter to join their dynamic and creative team. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the brand's voice and creating compelling content across various channels. You will work closely with the marketing, design, and communications teams to develop engaging copy that resonates with their target audience. Your ability to craft persuasive, concise, and impactful messaging will be essential in driving brand awareness, enhancing customer engagement, and ultimately contributing to their success.
 
Responsibilities:

• Write articles, product descriptions, and other informative content consistent with deep product understanding and in alignment with brand voice.
• Translate advertising campaigns into digital campaign content.
• Maintain and develop the company's website brand guidelines.
• Keep up to date with current best practices in writing for digital channels.
• Ensure all written content meets SEO standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with a Graphic Designer, project manager, account leaders and marketing leaders.
• Understand ADA compliance and how to work within those guidelines.
• Understand brand architecture, and be able to design for multiple different, yet related, brands.
• Proactively look for opportunities to bring forth new and innovative ideas amongst their team.
• Contribute meaningfully to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive culture.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in writing for digital platforms.
• Experience in writing for e-commerce.
• Experience with technical writing.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to present work clearly and take feedback.
• Understanding of user experience and providing quality control and oversight to ensure the best quality output.
• Experience with Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, and others including Squarespace.
• Constant learner and keep up to date with technological advancements and capabilities related to website creation.
