Technical Writer / Editor

Trilogy Federal is looking for a Junior Technical Writer/Editor to join our growing company and support our federal client. Our ideal candidate will contribute effectively towards our team goals in a cross-functional role and ensure exceptional customer experience for our client and their employees.

Please note this position is contingent upon award.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and edit communications artifacts (articles, fact sheets, press releases, eblasts, brochures, posters, video scripts, etc.) and related activities.
• Navigate client review processes and incorporating edits
• Facilitate client meetings to ideate on new products, discuss progress on current products underway, and finalize deliverables.
• Develop new article, product, social media, or other communications product ideas and pitch to team and client
• Provide copy editing for fellow team members, and ensure quality control of end products.
• Manage complex landscape of stakeholders.
• Define and measure success metrics and monitor progress. 
  
   

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 4 years of overall professional experience
• The ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Experience and knowledge of communications products, methodologies and tools, including articles, social media, graphical design, newsletters, etc.
• Strong experience with computer-based systems
• Effective project management skills, including a demonstrated ability to manage and track multiple products simultaneously
• Ability to interface well with end-users and client stakeholders across the organization
• Self-starter able to work independently and within a team
• Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
• Resource needs to be flexible and understand role will be fluid – may have other duties as assigned 
  
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• VA experience preferred
• Degree in health care related field
• Communications experience in a large-scale healthcare environment
